Keivan Beiranvand, Born in 1981
Khorramabad, Iran
Visual Artist, Sculptor
Master of Arts (M.A.)

Keivan Beiranvand, is a dedicated artist from Lorestan who has shown great diligence in his artistic endeavors. His early works pay homage to the ancient Lorestan bronzes, which date back to millennia BC, and have amazed and captivated the world with their modern interpretation

In Keivan's Colbert's sculptures, we witness a significant turning point in his artistic journey and philosophical contemplations. These artworks consciously reflect the challenging social realities that the artist takes pride in being a part of. They symbolize the profound experience of "man's confinement in both time and space," while portraying a profound and Sisyphean display of "the pinnacle of hopelessness and anguish." Through the depiction of bent backs and crosses, Keivan's sculptures tell a melancholic tale of suffering and pain, offering a powerful portrayal of the human condition.

Keyvan Beiranvand is a disciple of the esteemed Parviz Tanavoli school, a true testament to his profound learning and artistic lineage. Within the mesmerizing contours of hard metal, one can discern the artist's contemplative spirit and mastery, a testament to the thoughtful nuances he expertly breathes into his creations.

Beyond being a mere personal narrative, Biranvand's art transcends individuality to become a universal tale, resonating with the very essence of human existence. It serves as a poignant reminder of the burdens fate places upon each soul, akin to a metaphorical bag we all carry throughout life's journey. And in the face of such weight, there exists no alternative but to embrace these burdens with unwavering resolve, carrying them homeward in our quest for meaning and purpose.
