The LUMAKA Contemporary Floor Lamp is a surreal, sculptural lighting piece that feels alive, resting, observing, extending. With a coiled shell-like base and three flexible light extensions, it evokes the cautious, curious movements of a creature. Human-like arms and legs add an anthropomorphic dimension, blurring the line between object and being. Whether it lies on the floor, leans against a wall, or “crawls” across a surface, it transforms the space it inhabits with uncanny presence. 

Handcrafted in Milan, Italy, each lamp is constructed from a recycled paper composite over a metal frame, finished with a protective coating. Its organic shell is textured and dark (black version available), and its flexible extensions allow light to be directed in ambient or accent roles. Pavel Vishnevsky is a Russian-born designer and artist currently based in Milan, Italy. Emerging from the Far East of Russia, his work is deeply influenced by the natural world, blending organic forms with minimalist design principles. 

Vishnevsky's creations are characterized by their "organic bionic" design language, where abstract, living-like forms are transformed into functional art objects. He often utilizes materials such as recycled paper composites and fiberglass, reflecting his commitment to sustainability and innovative craftsmanship.
