The work embodies a creative process starting with a pencil sketch. It then leverages the latest technological advancements. The virtual material is sculpted with the same care and precision as physical material. This yields fluid, dynamic lines.

In this dialogue between the virtual and the real, both are elevated to their highest perfection. A meticulous study of ergonomics and an enveloping design ensure a comfortable, elevated posture. The backrest of the lounge chair offers optimal lumbar support and a generous scapular opening.

Inspired by the concept of a throne, this lounge chair encourages an elegant, noble position. The design emerges from reflecting on the intrinsic dignity of each individual. It highlights how design serves everyone in our society. It also emphasizes the significance of human history and experience. In essence, we believe everyone deserves a throne.

Brought to life by the ancient atmosphere of Venice, the lagoon city, CARCINO Design Studio interprets the universal language of form, function, and design. It embraces both East and West. The studio primarily focuses on discovering beauty in design and architecture.

Founded in Venice in 2021 by architects Maria Pernice and Marco Brotto, CARCINO Design Studio specializes in product design and interior spaces.

Blurring the boundaries between design and art, CARCINO Design creations are represented by prominent international galleries, including the Portuguese October Gallery.

In 2024, CARCINO Studio was recognized among the emerging under-35 talents at Genoa Design Week. With Superbia Domus, they successfully passed the selection for Editions. This is the first limited-edition art and design fair in the Middle East, debuting at Dubai Design Week.

The international marble fair Marmomac 2024 will provide an exclusive backdrop for a selection of new creations. These are born from their collaboration with The Marble Whisper and Demetra, symbols of excellence in marble craftsmanship.
