Entirely made of polished brass, from its smooth top to its flowing base, the bench reflects the graceful lines of Chinese ink paintings. Its mirror-like surface captures light and shadow, adding warmth and sophistication to any interior.

Founded in 2016, Masaya began as a creative branch of a long-established family bronze foundry. The brand brings artisanal mastery from traditional metalwork into contemporary interior design. Each piece reflects a deep respect for craftsmanship and material honesty.

Masaya specializes in handcrafted brass furniture made using the ancient lost wax casting method. This process gives each object a unique surface texture and organic, sculptural form. The result is designer furniture that feels alive, tactile, expressive, and timeless.

With over 30 years of experience in metalworking and decorative arts, Masaya’s artisans shape, cast, and polish by hand. Their work combines precision with intuition, producing pieces that carry warmth, individuality, and character. No two creations are ever alike.

Creative director Apiwat Chitapanya blends fine art, architecture, and design in his creative process. His vision balances contemporary aesthetics with a sense of heritage. Customization

The Ink brass bench can also be created in matte blackened brass finish. For custom orders or interior design trade inquiries, please contact us directly.

Note

Brass is durable and suitable for both indoor and outdoor spaces. Sharp objects may scratch its surface. Over time, brass oxidizes and may lose its shine, especially in humid or coastal areas.Small pinholes and surface variations are part of the lost wax casting process, giving each piece a unique character.

We offer two finishes: matte black and polished brass. Matte black requires no maintenance and keeps its color. Polished brass is unlacquered, allowing easy re-polishing when desired. Metal cream restores its natural shine.
