This sculpture is crafted from alder burl and walnut wood, sourced with care and environmental awareness. Alder trees grow in the ancient Hyrcanian forests and are considered among the rarer native species.

The burl is collected only from naturally fallen trees, damaged by storms, decay, or natural causes. Rather than letting it waste, the artist revives the wood, giving it new life through form and function.

The natural essence of the burl remains visible, especially along the expressive edges of the vessel. The base is intentionally designed with an off-balance structure, adding energy and presence to the overall composition.

This imbalance emphasizes contrast and invites the viewer to contemplate harmony through irregularity. The work reflects both ecological respect and the poetic potential of repurposed natural materials.
