About this contemporary Table Lamp
Guided by a minimalist, anti-fashion aesthetic, BETTINA draws inspiration from the beauty of imperfection, evoking the textures of ancient ceramics and the quiet harmony of Eastern architecture. Within her sculptural form, light and shadow intertwine, giving presence to something soulful and unseen.
Darkness and innocence coexist in balance. The purity of childlike wonder merging with the raw honesty of the adult world. Through the subtle play of illumination, the unconscious reveals itself, bringing to light what usually lies hidden within.
Part of a series that echoes the spirit of Giuliano Fujiwara’s work, BETTINA was born from a desire to explore the inner child and the subconscious. In the process, new forms emerged, each carrying a trace of her essence.
Compact, grounded, and totemic in presence, BETTINA stands in matte black, her glowing eyes casting a double shadow behind her. Silent yet expressive, she is both guardian and ghost. A creature of the night whose quiet luminosity transforms any interior into a space of reflection, emotion, and subtle mystery.
about the designer
Pavel Vishnevsky is a Russian-born designer and artist currently based in Milan, Italy. Emerging from the Far East of Russia, his work is deeply influenced by the natural world, blending organic forms with minimalist design principles.
Vishnevsky's creations are characterized by their "organic bionic" design language, where abstract, living-like forms are transformed into functional art objects. He often utilizes materials such as recycled paper composites and fiberglass, reflecting his commitment to sustainability and innovative craftsmanship.
His design philosophy emphasizes the integration of art and function, producing pieces that are not only visually striking but also serve practical purposes. This approach has led to a series of limited edition lighting sculptures, including the Rostok, Bettina, and Mara lamps, which have garnered attention in contemporary design circles.
Vishnevsky's work has been featured in various design platforms, showcasing his unique perspective and contribution to the field of modern design.
