Hanji Park is a South Korean contemporary painter based in Wonju, Gangwon Province. She is known for expressive mountain landscapes combining memory, history, and emotional storytelling. Her work transforms natural terrain into symbolic spaces shaped by human experience and resilience.

Her practice draws from Korean post-war narratives and generational memory of displacement. Mountains become layered structures where homes, lives, and histories are visually embedded. Through acrylic layering, she builds dense emotional landscapes that merge reality and imagination.

Park has participated in numerous group exhibitions in South Korea, primarily within contemporary art spaces. Her work has been presented in curated exhibitions and selected contemporary art showcases. She is collected internationally through private collectors and contemporary art acquisitions.
