Artistic Concept
- Focus on Lips: The primary subject of the Kiss Series is the shape of lips, an iconic representation of affection and communication. These sculptures abstract the human lips, offering a minimalist yet powerful expression of intimacy.
- Symbolism of the Kiss: Lips are a universal symbol of a kiss, which Rahanjam uses to explore deeper human emotions. The kiss, as represented in this bronze sculpture, becomes a metaphor for relationships, love, and the unspoken bonds between individuals.
- Emotional Exploration: Through the abstracted form of lips, the sculptures explore different facets of human emotion, from passionate love and tenderness to secrecy and introspection. The simplicity of the design allows for a broader interpretation of the emotional layers behind a kiss.
