Brought to life by the ancient atmosphere of Venice, the lagoon city, CARCINO Design Studio interprets the universal language of form, function, and design. It embraces both East and West. The studio primarily focuses on discovering beauty in design and architecture.

Founded in Venice in 2021 by architects Maria Pernice and Marco Brotto, CARCINO Design Studio specializes in product design and interior spaces.

Archaic lines, echoing the classical world, merge seamlessly with a metaphysical and futuristic vision. Their creations result from a creative process that begins with freehand sketches. Thanks to their multifaceted approach to design, they have had the privilege of crafting furniture components for prestigious companies. Among them is the historic Minotti. They provide decorative items for exhibitions such as Salone del Mobile in Milan, as well as for showrooms worldwide.

Blurring the boundaries between design and art, CARCINO Design creations are represented by prominent international galleries, including the Portuguese October Gallery.

In 2024, CARCINO Studio was recognized among the emerging under-35 talents at Genoa Design Week. With Superbia Domus, they successfully passed the selection for Editions. This is the first limited-edition art and design fair in the Middle East, debuting at Dubai Design Week.

The international marble fair Marmomac 2024 will provide an exclusive backdrop for a selection of new creations. These are born from their collaboration with The Marble Whisper and Demetra, symbols of excellence in marble craftsmanship.
