Sama Anoshahr is a Tehran‑based artist and instructor celebrated for her richly layered pen and color pen on cardboard compositions. Her work fuses architectural precision with fluid gesture, creating visually dense and emotionally resonant pieces

Her technique involves applying vibrant pigments with color pens over a matte cardboard surface, transforming everyday materials into finely tuned artworks. The resulting pieces evoke landscapes, textures, and abstract forms that invite close visual exploration.

Anoshahr’s visual language reflects her background in architecture and graphic design, emphasizing structured layouts interwoven with spontaneous mark‑making. This duality gives her work a unique tension simultaneously controlled and organic.

In October 2023, she exhibited “Symphony of Objects”, her solo show at Seyhoun Art Gallery. The exhibition demonstrated her mastery of complex layering and narrative space. Beyond Tehran, her work is featured in galleries and auctions across Dubai, Paris, and North America.
