Leyla Shoghi, born in 1980 in Karaj, Iran, is a multifaceted artist with a background in puppet arts. She earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Puppet Arts and has been active in television and cinema as an actress and director since 2001.
In 2014, Shoghi expanded her artistic repertoire to include sculpture, focusing on mixed media creations that blend traditional Persian motifs with contemporary themes. Her work often incorporates elements inspired by Persian carpets and tiles, as well as the poetry of Rumi, exploring themes of love, protection, and the duality of good and evil.
Shoghi has participated in numerous group visual exhibitions, showcasing her sculptures that delve into cultural heritage and personal expression. Her notable exhibitions include "Dreaming With Eyes Wide Open" (December 6, 2024), "Flower Time" (February 23, 2024), and "Analyze" (January 26, 2024).
In addition to her visual arts career, Shoghi has an extensive background in acting, with credits in films such as "Pas Az Meh" (2010), "Molaghat" (2013), and the television series "Bename Gole Sorkh" (2007).
