This sculptural chair by Sahra Mollaalimerges artistic expression with functionality, embodying character and whimsy in every detail. Handmade from paper-mâché and inspired by nostalgic memories of a classroom “filled with silent witnesses,” the chair brings life and personality into any space.

The design centers on a vibrant color palette: the legs are painted in a bright red, lending a bold foundation that immediately draws the eye. Moving up, the chair’s top takes the shape of a black “professor’s” head, complete with a long nose and glasses, as if the figure is thoughtfully observing its surroundings. The seat itself is a light yellow or beige, creating a cozy and inviting contrast that softens the striking colors above and below.

Mollaali began her artistic journey with recycled wood, igniting a passion for experimenting with unique materials. She has since mastered a wide array of techniques, refusing to limit herself to a single medium.
