about this recycled art sculpture

Roxana Fazeli's recycled art sculpture of a crocodile, nearly two meters tall, vividly explores humanity's environmental impact. This striking piece features green glass bulbs on the crocodile's head, resembling waste bubbles, symbolizing pollution and environmental degradation.

Fazeli employs mixed media, incorporating recycled materials such as industrial waste and glass, to craft this thought-provoking sculpture. The use of these materials underscores the ecological consequences of human consumption and the persistence of waste in natural ecosystems.

The crocodile, a powerful symbol of resilience and nature's enduring presence, is depicted burdened by waste. The green glass bulbs evoke the unnatural intrusion of pollution into the natural world, highlighting the consequences of unchecked human activity.

This sculpture critiques the imbalance between humanity and nature, portraying the crocodile as both a victim and a warning. Fazeli’s use of recycled materials transforms waste into art, emphasizing the potential for change and the urgent need for sustainable practices.

By blending artistic expression with environmental activism, this sculpture challenges viewers to confront their role in ecological issues. Fazeli's work demonstrates how art can serve as a compelling platform to address pressing environmental concerns and inspire reflection.

The crocodile sculpture invites audiences to rethink their relationship with nature and the lasting impact of their actions. It stands as a testament to the power of recycled art in fostering awareness and dialogue about sustainability and conservation.
