Hamed engages in a sort of appropriation by drawing on the history of art while also veering away from the conventional understanding of the pivotal paintings in history. He creates an atmosphere that forces the audience to pay attention to and understand his works by making references to and mocking the works of great painters.

Because Norouzi incorporates bees into his works, the historical setting he depicts takes on a mythological appearance. By doing so, he obtains a modern reading of the art world in which pop cultural components are layered over the canon of classic art and pushed against this ostensibly hostile environment.

As a teenager, Hamed started his artistic career with sketching and caricature but soon switched to painting and stayed in this discipline. After receiving Biafrin award from the Nordart festival in 2019, he has participated in numerous group exhibits in Iran and other nations, and in 2021 he presented his own solo show at Shirin Gallery, sting therapy. 

Hamed Norouzi's dedication to his craft is admirable. Such a perspective on painting is a legacy passed down from the masters and predecessors, to whom the artist has referred to and also portrayed in his works.
